Overview
Extraction is planned only when a tooth cannot be safely preserved.
Tooth extraction means removing a tooth from its socket. It may be needed for severe decay, fracture, infection, gum disease, loose teeth, crowding or impacted wisdom teeth. At ARKA Dental, the focus is careful diagnosis, comfort, safe removal and clear post-procedure guidance.
Careful removalThe tooth and surrounding bone/gum condition are assessed before extraction.
Comfort firstLocal anaesthesia is used so the area is numb during the procedure.
Aftercare guidanceYou receive instructions for bleeding control, diet, medicine and healing.
Replacement planningImplants, bridges or dentures can be discussed when a tooth is removed.
